18.3.2 User Access

A "User" is an administrator. Set the maximum number of administrators allowed to log into Vantage at one
time, Vantage idle timeout (so one administrator does not unwittingly hog resources by not logging out) and a
brute force password protection mechanism in this screen.
Brute-Force Password Guessing Protection is a protection mechanism to discourage brute-force password
guessing attacks on a device's management interface. You can specify a wait-time that must expire before
entering a fourth password after three incorrect passwords have been entered.
You can also force all administrators to periodically change their passwords in this screen.

This displays the file path of your syslog server.
The mail (SMTP) server is used to send Vantage notifications. Select the
checkbox to activate the fields below.
Type the IP address of the mail server here.
Type your login name to this mail server.
Type the mail server password associated with the login name.
Click Apply to save your settings in Vantage.
Click Reset to begin configuring the screen afresh.
