Activating/deactivating TA/PTY

Standby Reception
TA Standby Reception
Press on the monitor panel to
activate.
The unit will temporarily switch to
Traffic Announcement (TA) if available,
from any source other than AM.
• The volume changes to the preset
TA volume level if the current level is
lower than the preset level ( ¢Ñ page
63).
Not yet activated. Tune in to another
station providing the RDS signals.
Press to deactivate.
PTY Standby Reception
To activate, display < AV Menu >
screen, press [ M ode ], then press
[On] for < PTy Standby >. (¢Ñ next
column)
The unit will temporarily switch to
your favorite PTY programme from any
source other than AM.
Not yet activated. Tune in to another
station providing the RDS signals.
To deactivate, press [Off] for < PTy
Standby > in step 3 on the next
column.
• When a DAB tuner is connected, TA Standby/PTY
Standby Reception also works for the DAB tuner and
searches for the services.
