    Playable disc type If you insert a DVD Video disc of an incorrect Region Code, “Region code error” appears on the monitor. DVD-R recorded in multi-border format is also playable (except for dual layer discs). It is possible to play back finalized +R/+RW (Video format only) discs. However, the use of +R double layer disc is not recommended.

    Disc operations The disc type is automatically detected, and playback starts automatically (for some discs: automatic start depends on its internal program). If a disc does not have any disc menu, all tracks in it will be played repeatedly until you change the source or eject the disc.
