Setting the time and date Note: When the unit is set to CD mode or radio you cannot set the time and date. 1. Press and hold the Time Set button for 2 seconds. 2. The clock display will change to show the time setting icon the minutes will flash.
Setting the time and date (continued) 8. Press the Time Set button a fourth time. The month will flash in the clock display. 9. Press the Tuning Up or Tuning Down buttons to increase or decrease the month. 10. Press the Time Set button a fifth time. The year will flash in the clock display.
Listening to the Radio 1. Switch on your radio by pressing the Radio On button. 2. The backlight will change from green to orange. The radio icon the station frequency will show in the display. After approximately 10 seconds the display will revert back to showing the time. 3.
Storing stations in memory 1. Tune in the radio to the required station. 2. Press the Memory button. The Memory indicator will flash on the display. 3. Select the required memory position by using the F.skip/Mem. Up or B.skip/Mem. Down buttons. The position number will show on the display.
Compact discs Use only Digital Audio CDs which have the symbol. Never write on a CD or attach any sticker to the CD. Always hold the CD at the edge and store it in its case after use with the label facing up. To remove dust and dirt, breathe on the CD and wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth in a straight line from the centre towards the edge.
Inserting a CD 1. To open the CD compartment, lift the CD door on the edge marked 'Open'. 2. Press the CD onto the spindle and close the CD door. 3. Press the Play/Pause button to enter the CD standby mode. 4.
Playing a CD 1. Press the Play/Pause button to start playback. The display will show the time elapsed for the current track. The track number will show on the right side of the display. After a few seconds the display will revert back to clock time. 2.
Selecting a track Use this function to select a track on the CD. 1. Whilst the CD is playing, press either the F.skip/Mem. Up or B.skip/ Mem. Down buttons to change to the desired track. You can also skip tracks when the player is in stop mode. Skip to the desired track using the F.skip/Mem.
CD repeat mode Use this function to repeat a single track or repeat the entire CD. 1. Whilst the CD is playing press the Repeat button once to repeat the current track. The repeat track icon will appear and the selected track will be repeated indefinitely.
Programmed play Use this function to programme the player to play selected tracks on the CD in the order that you want to hear them played. A maximum of 21 tracks can be programme. Note: You cannot programme the CD whilst it is playing. If the CD is playing press the Stop/Off button to stop playback and the display shows the total number of tracks.
Erasing a programme 1. Programmes are erased by pressing the Stop/Off button, or interrupting the mains supply. Setting Alarm Times Your unit has three separate alarms (Alarm 1, Alarm 2 and Alarm 3) that can be set and used independently and can be set to wake you with the radio, the CD player or by a buzzer.

Setting alarm times (continued) 2. Select the required alarm system (Alarm 1, Alarm 2 or Alarm 3) by pressing the Alarm Set button until the alarm system you require is shown in the display. The display will change from the current time to the alarm time.

Setting alarm times (continued) 11. At the time that the alarm is set to go off: The Radio will switch on and play for 60 minutes (if set to the Radio mode). The CD will switch on and play for 60 minutes (if set to the CD mode).
Snooze Control The Radio, CD or Buzzer alarms can be silenced for 8 minutes by pressing the Snooze button. This sequence can be repeated throughout the 60 minute alarm period. Checking the Alarm Times Use this function whenever you want to check the alarm time settings. 1.
Sleep timer 1. CD or radio playback can be set to switch off automatically after a preset time has elapsed. With the unit in either CD or radio mode, press the Sleep button. The display will show '90' minutes as the default setting.
Auto Dimmer 1. The Auto Dimmer located on the front of your CD clock radio will automatically adjust the intensity of the display to suit ambient room light. Headphones 1. A Headphone Socket (3.5mm) located on left side of the unit is provided for use with either headphones or an earpiece.
