Solution
Turn the power off and on again. If a
self-test fails, repair or replace device.
Reset configuration switches according
to manufacturer's instructions.
Tighten or replace the cable.
Repair or replace the modem in
question.
Attempt to restart line. Escalate as
needed.
Check for error messages.
Restart the TACL process.
Stop and restart the process.
Check manufacturer's documentation or
escalate the problem according to local
procedure.
