Parental Controls
limits viewing of DVDs that exceed the limits
you set. This feature will not limit viewing if the DVD maker did
not code the DVD. So, make sure your DVDs play according to
your settings before you allow children access to the DVD/VCR.
Follow these steps to change your Parental Controls
password.
Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR
in DVD mode. Press
OUTPUT
SELECT so the red DVD light appears on the front of
the DVD/VCR.

While playback is stopped, press DVD, then press
SETUP.

Press the Number 4 button to select PARENTAL.
The SET-UP PARENTAL CONTROLS PASSWORD menu
will appear.

Press the Number
buttons
to enter
your four-digit
password.
When doing this for the first time, enter any
four digits, then press OK. That number will be used as the
password from that point forward.
Press the Number

Write down your password in case
you forget it.
The default (factory preset) pass-
word is 4737. If you forget your
password, press Number buttons
4, 7, 3, 7 at step 3. The Player
immediately will ask you to enter
a new four-digit password. Use the
Number buttons to enter a new
four-digit code, then press OK.
PARENTAL LEVEL automatically
will be reset to ALL. See page 57
to reset PARENTAL LEVEL as you
desire,
