Connect the device end of the Hi-Speed USB2.0

cable into the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port on the back of
the LaCie d2 DL DVD±RW Drive.
To achieve Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data

transfer rates you need to be connected to a Hi-
Speed USB 2.0 host interface. Otherwise, you will
be limited to USB 1.1 speeds. For more

Connect the other end of the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable
into an available USB port* on your computer.

Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable - device end
Important Info:
Mac OS 9.x Users!
does not support the Hi-Speed USB 2.0
standard under Mac OS 9.x. You will be
limited to USB 1.1 speeds and will only be
able to burn CD media at 4x speed.
It may take a few seconds for the drive to

appear on your desktop, and an icon will only
appear when there is a DVD or CD in the drive
(CD and DVD icons are similiar; only the name
is different).
