REMOVING THE CARBON RIBBON

Remove the supply side carbon ribbon in the direction indicated by the arrow.
For the wound-up carbon ribbon, turn the purple-colored knob counterclockwise to unlock the take-up reel.
Then remove the ribbon in the direction indicated by the arrow.

CAUTION
• Ensure that you remove the wound-up carbon ribbon
when the end of each roll of carbon ribbon is
reached.
• You may get ink on your hands when you remove the
carbon ribbon.
