Section 2: Preparing for First-Time Operation CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK CHARGING BY INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK IN THE BATTERY CHARGER (OP- TIONAL) Install the battery pack in the battery charger (optional) and charge it. WARNING • The optional battery charger set provided for this printer is specific to this printer.

When charging is complete, the CHARGE lamp will be illuminated green, to indicate that the battery is fully charged. Remove the battery pack when charging has been completed.
