Phone pairing can either be done using the setup menu
(see Getting Started section in this manual) or using voice
commands.
Pairing will walk you through a series of steps that will
establish a connection between your handset and
Uconnect™ Phone in the vehicle.
Once set up, you do not need to re- pair your phone with
each use. However, every new phone must be paired
before it can be used.
NOTE: The pairing process shall be performed by a
passenger while the vehicle is in motion.

The following are general phone to Uconnect™ Phone
voice pairing instructions:
1. Press the Uconnect™ Phone
2. Wait for the beep.
3. Say SETUP.
4. Say PHONE PAIRING.
5. When prompted, after the beep, say PAIR A PHONE
and follow the audible prompts.
6. You will be asked to say a four-digit pin number
which you will later need to enter into your cellular. You
can enter any four-digit pin number. You will not need to
remember this pin number after the initial pairing pro-
cess.
7. Uconnect™ Phone will then prompt you to begin the
cellular phone pairing process on your cellular phone.
