BASIC OPERATION
■ User Set mode
If the transceiver has [User Set Mode] assigned to it, you can
"customize" the transceiver operation to suit your preferences
and operating style.
Entering the User Set mode:
q Hold down [User Set Mode] for 1 second to enter the User
Set mode.
w Push [P0] to select the appropriate item.
Then push [P2] or [P3] to set the desired value or option.
• In the User Set mode, the selectable items are preset by your
dealer. The presetable items are:

Backlight
: OFF/OFF Auto/OFF Auto2/Dim Auto/Dim/ON
Beep
: OFF/ON
Beep Level
: 1 to 5
SQL Level
: 0 to 9
AF Min Level : 0 to 255
Mic Gain
: 1 to 5
Horn
: OFF/ON
Signal Moni : OFF/ON
Lone Worker : OFF/ON
- Pushing [P3] increases the value, or selects the right side option;
pushing [P2] decreases the value, or selects the left side option.
- When the maximum value or "ON" is selected, an error beep
sounds if [P3] is pushed. When the minimum value or "OFF" is
selected, an error beep sounds if [P2] is pushed.
• The Channel indicator and Activated key indicator light to show
the selected item, as shown to the right.
e Push and hold [User Set Mode] for 1 second again to exit
the User Set mode.
