Connectinga VCR andsatellite receiver
You will need:
tbree coaxial cables
one set of component video cables (if your satellite
receiver does not bave component video, connect
tbe standard A/V cables only)
two sets of standard A/V cables

and VCRhaveS video,conned S v/dencables(plustire
audiocablesj insteadof the standard videocablesfrom
the satellitereceiverto tile VCRand Jlen from tile VCRto
VIDEO 7on the TK Do not connect both typesof v/den
cable to VIDEO ! (or VIDEO2) at the sametime or Lhe
plbtureperfo/Tnance will be unacceptable
• Ifyou havea mona VCR,conned L/MONO on tire TV
(VIDEO 1) zoyour VCR'sAUDIO OUT ]ack using tile
whiteaudio cable only
To view satellite programs using the component
video connections:
Select the ColorStream HD-1 video input source on
the TV.*
To view satellite programs using the standard
video connections or to record satellite
programs:
Turn on all tbree devices. Select "LINE IN" on the
VCR. Select the VIDEO 1 video input source on
the TV.
To view the VCR or view and record antenna
channels:
Select the ANT-1 video input source on tbe TV.*
Tune tbe TV to channel 3 or 4 (whichever channel
is vacant in your area).
or... Tune the VCR to the channel you want to watch.
Select the VIDEO 1 video input source on the TV.*
