POWER
turns the TV on and off. When the TV is on, the
green LED indicator
on the TV front will be illuminated.

PIC SIZE cycles through the picture sizes: Natural,
TheaterWide
11213,Full, 4:3 HD, Native and Dot by Dot
(_v page 32).

PIC MODE
selects the picture mode (_,page
35).

INPUT
selects the video input source (_>,page 28).

SLEEP accesses the sleep timer (_. page 43).

FREEZE freezes the picture. Press again to restore the
moving picture (_. page 34).

Channel
Numbers (0-9,-/100)
directly tune
channels. The(_) button is used to tune digital channels
(_. page 31) or to edit the Favorites List (_. page 29).

FAV BROWSER accessesthe Favorites List in the
Channel Brower
TM
(_' page 29).

RECALL displays TV status information (_' page 45).
10 CH A'W' cycles through programmed channels when no
menu is on-screen (_' page 24).
11 C.CAPTION
accesses the closed caption (_' page 37).
12 NUTE reduces or turns offthe sound (_' page 37).
13 VOL + - adjusts the volume level.
14 INFO displays TV status information as well as program
details, when available (_ page 45).
18 EXIT closes on-screen menus.
16 ENTER activates highlighted items in the main menu
system.
17 CH RTN returns to the last viewed channel or source
(_' page 32).
18 Arrow buttons

When a menu is on-screen,
these buttons select or adjust programming menus. (Also
see 4 / _.)

_l/_" While watching TV, these buttons open the
Channel Browser
TM
and tune to the previous/next channel
in the channel history (_' page 30). (Also see "Arrow
buttons.")
20 MENU accesses the main TV menu system (_' pages 21
and 22).
21 STOP Stops the tape or DVD.
22 PLaY Begins playback of a tape or DVD.
23 StoP _,_ Skips forward to locate later DVD chapters.
24 FF Fast-forwards the tape or DVD.(Press during play
mode to view the picture moving rapidly forward.)
25 EJECT Eject the tape or DVD.
26 PAUSE Press during play or record mode to pause the
picture ; press again to restart.
27 SKIP I,_ Skips back to beginning of current DVD
chapter, or locates previous chapters.
28 NEW Rewinds/reverses the tpae or DVD. (Press during
play mode to view the picture moving rapidly backward.)
