Precautions
@ Do not use/storethe camera in the
following places
• In an extlvmely hot, dly or lmmM place
In places such as in a car pm'ked in the sun, tile

Tile camera body may become discolored or

• In smldy or dusty places
Be carctul lloI to let sand or dusl get into tile
camera. This may cause tile camera to
malflmction, and in some ca_s this malflmction
cannol be repaired.
_ Oncleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe the screen surtace with im LCD cleiuling kit
(not supplied) to remove Iingerprinls, dusl, etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with a soft clodl to remove
I]llgerprilYts,d/lst, etc.
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean tile camera surface with a soil cloth slightly
moistened wilh water, then wipe tile stlrtacc willy
a dW cloth. Do nol u_ lhe Iollowing as lhey in_ly
damage file finish or the casing.
• Chemical producls such as lhinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable cloths, insect repellenl,
sunscreen or insecticide, etc.
• DO nOt tOUCh the canlera with tile
above

• Do nol leave the camera in contact wilh rubber
or vinyl for a long time.

How to prevent moisture condensation
When bringing the cmnera h'om a cold place to a
wm'm place, seal the camera, in a plastic bag and
idlow it to adal_t to conditions at tile new location
o'_'er _lbout all hour.
If moisture condensation occurs
Turn ()lithe Cillllel'a _llld wait about an ho/lr lot tile
moisture to evaporate. Note Ihal if you atlenlpl to
shool willy moisture remaining inside the lens, you
will be unable to record clear images.
