Precautions
_ Do not leave the camera in the
following places

In places such as in a car parked in tile sun, file
cmnera body may become delornled and this

The camera body may beconle discolored or
delomled, and this may cause a malhmction.

• Near strong magnetic place
• In sandy or dusty places
Be camlul not to let sand or dusl get hllo file
camera. This may cause tile canlera to

and in solne cases lhis inalfilnclion
cannot be repaired.
_ Oncleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe tile screen surface with an LCD cleaning kit
(not supplied) to rcnlove fingerprints,
dust, etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with a sotr cloth to rcmo_e
Iingerprinls,

etc.
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean tile clunera sullace with a soil cloth slightly
inoislelled with
water,
then
wipe the surtltce with
a dry cloth. Do not use tile lbllowing as they nlay
danlage the finish or the casing.

alcohol, disposable cloths, insect repellent, or
insecticide, etc.

_ Onoperating temperatures
Your canlera is designed Ior use under tile
temperatures
between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and
I04°F). (Ill case of alkaline batteries/Oxy
Nickel
Primary Battel T, the temperatures am between
5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).) Shooting in
extremely cold or hot places that exceed this range
is not
recommended.

moisture
condensation
When

occurs

Note
that
if you
attelnpt
to
shoot with Inoisture relnaining inside tile lens, you
will be unable to record clear images.
_ Ontheinternalrechargeable
battery
This canlera has an internal rechargeable
battery
Ior maintaining
the dale and time and other
settings regardless of whether the power is on or
off.
This rechargeable
battery is continually charged
as hmg as you am using the camera. However. if
you use the camera lot only short periods, it
discharges graduully, and if you do not use the
camera tit all lor about one lllonlh it beconles
conlpletely
discharged. In this case, be sure to
charge this rechargeable
battery belore using tile
camera.
However, even if this rechargeable
battery is not
chalged, you can still use tile camera as long as
you do
not
record
file
dale
and
time.
Charging method
Insert batteries with enough capacity ill tile
camera, (51connect lhe camera 1(5a wall out]el
(wall socket) using the AC Adaptor (not
supplied), and leave the canlera lot 24 hours or
nlore with the power off.
