Installingsoftware and "First Step Guide"
You need to install the software to your
Wittdows computer before connecting
your camcorder to the computer. The
installation is required only for the first time.
Contettts to be ittstalled attd procedures may
differ depending oil your OS.

Confirm that your camcorder is not
connected to the computer.

Turn on the computer.
• Log on as Administrators t_n"installation,
• Close Ml applications running on the
computer belorc installing the soflwarc.

Place the supplied CD-ROM in the
disc drive of your computer.

• Depending on tile operating system on the
computer, a message appears nolil}Ang you
that 'First Step Guide", cannot be installed
automatically with the InstallShield Wizard.
In such a cuse, manually copy "First Step
Guide" to your computer according to the
inessage_s instrllclions.
5 Select the language for the
application to be installed, then
click [Next].
• If the screen does not appear, h)llow the
procedure below.
@ Double-click [My Computer] (If you arc
using Windows XP+click [Startl,then [My
Computer].)
@ Double-click [PICTUREPACKAGEI
(Disc drive).*
