Blocking Movie Ratings
If you only want your child to '_.alch movies that have a PG rating and lower
(in other words, movies rated PG and G), then you could automatically block
out all ()tiler movies with higher ratings.

higher ratings automatically change to BlocA
Press OK to return to tile menu or exit tile screen.
If Parental Controls are not locked, you must lock them so tile movie rating
linfits will take et'l].ct.

movie ratings, you midst set NR to Vieu separately 1o vieu NR movies.

Viewing Movie Ratings
A_r you block movie ratings, you have tile option of changing some of tile
rating status buttons back to View:
1. Highlight tile Ratit(_ field and press tile tip and down arrow buttons to find
tile rating you want to view.
2. Press tile right arrow button to highlight tile rating SlatJ¢s field. Press tile up
and down arrows to change tile buuon [?ore Bl()ck to View.
For example, if movies with a rating of PG-13 and higher are blocked, you can
change tile rating status corresponding with NC-17. Your child would then be
able to '_valch all movies with a G, PG, and NC-17 Rating.
3. Press OK to exit tile screen, and be sure parental controls are locked.
V-Chip Unrated Program Block
Selecting this option lets yotl decide if programs that tile V-Chip recognizes as
'unra_ed" can be viewed. Nob" that "tlnrated" TV programs may include news,
sports, political, religious, local and weather programs, emergency bulletins,
public announcements, and programs without ratings.
View All unrated programs are available.
Block All unrated programs are not awtilable.
Note: You mast remember to lock Parental Cont*_d.h/br rating limits to
take, _flOct.
