Blocking Age-Based
Ratings
You can au_matically
block all prograln
ratings above a specified age-based
rating level. For example, if you only want your child to watch programs that
have a TV-G rating and lower (in ()tiler words, you want tile child lo watch
TV-G, TV-Y7, and TV-Y), then you need to block ()kit ()tiler programming
with
higher ratings.
"Ibblock programs
with higher ratings:
1.
First, dewrmine
the lowest level rating you don't want tile child to watch
(see charl of age-based
ratings on nexl page).
2.
Press the left and right arrow buttons
to highlight the Ratin/4 field.
3.
Press the up and down arrow bul/ons on tile remote lo scroll through tile
age-based
rating limits. Keep scrolling until tile rating corresponding
with
the lowest rating you do not want the child to watch appears
on tile screen.
In tile example discussed
above, you would scroll through the Ralin_,gfield
until TV-PG appears,
since the highest rating you want tile child to watch is
TV-G.
