On-screen Program Guide
Description:
The GUIDE Plus+ system is an on-screen
interactive
list of
programs
and inlk>rmation that is built into your TV. You can scroll through tile
guide to see what's on and tune direc/ly to that program l_om tile guide. You
can also browse programs
by category with tile sort [)ature.
When you access tile News tL.ature, MSNBC will appear in your video window if
it's awtilable through your TV.

VCR Recording is another benefit of the GUIDE Plus+ system. You
don't have to remember
to program
your VCR or use the menus in your VCR to
set Lip a recnrding.
Requirements:

VCR Recording: You must connect tile G-LINK cable to tile TV
and place one of tile wands in t_ont of tile relnow sensor on the VCR.

PIP (Picture-In-Picture)
Description:
PiP lets you watch two channels
at one time -- one channel on
tile main screen and the other in a smaller window.
Requirements:
Connect audio/viden
cables to your TV and to another
component
that has a tuner (a VCR or a satellite receiver).
Your TV has one tuner, which nleans it can tune to one channel at a tinle. You
must set up a second component
(VCR or satellite receiver) to act as tile second
tuner in order tk_r PiP to work. Chapter 1 and Chaplcr 5 have

instructions.
