No power
Won't record or
playback

Set the POWER
switch to CAMERA
or VCR to turn on
the camcorder.
The power indicator
lights.

If using battery,
it might need to be recharged.
•
If using AC adapter/charger,
make sure it is plugged
into a working
outlet.
No picture
Camcorder
turns
itself off
•
If using AC adapter/charger,
make sure it is plugged

If the dew indicator
( [] ) flashes in the viewfinder,
there
is moisture in the camcorder.
Wait until the dew
indicator
no longer appears before operating
the
camcorder.

Make sure POWER

in the camcorder.

Try ejecting
and reinserting
the cassette.

The cassette
tape might be broken,
