Menu System
Sincethis product has many features, it has a wealth of menus and options.To accessthe main menu during playback,pressthe STOP button on the remote.To accessthe
main menu when you're not playinga disc or tape, pressthe MENU burton.

Throughout the DVD/VCR's menu system,you'll see arrows on the on-screen menu bars.These arrows indicate you can use the correhting arrow buttons on the remote
control ro navigateto different menus and accesschoices.When a menu item is highlighted,press OK to select the menu.
If you see the left arrow button, you can press the left arrow button on the remote control to return to the previous menu.Throughout the menu system,the GO BACK
button takesyou to the previous menu.

The Main Menu
The main menu is divided into thefollowing submenus:
Wet¢_ TV = shows current channelnumber or input.
D_¢ = playsa disc,accessesthe disc title menu,enablesyou to cop>, a disc to tape,enablesyou to
crea_ea customized phylist (audio CDs and DVDs), selects the screen format for DVDs, and accesses
rifle menus and disc menus for DVDs. Go to page48 for details,
Tape - provides options forVCR playback,such asAutoPiay;allows you to copy a tape to disc;allows
you to select segmentsof the rape for editing. Go to page49,
D_¢ Library - contains information about all programs you've recorded usingthis DVD/VCR.You cart
use the DiscLibraryasa searchtool by sorting recorded programs,As much information aspossible is
stored automatically,The information is stored in the DVD/VCR's memory and has storage limits.You
may needto delete some library contents in the future to make room for new recordings. For detailed
information about the DiscLibrary,go to page3 I.
Timers = set up timer recordings and view the list of existing timer recordings. Go to page50 for
general information about this menu.For instructions to set up a time_ go to Chapter 3 (page30),
Setup - accessesall of the menus from the interactive Setup (the menusyou went through the first
time you turned on the product); parental controls (radng limits); record quality settings; language
options for on-screen menus and discs;and advancedsettings for audio and component video. Go to
