This feature displaysthe drne that has elapsedduring playback,For DVD discs,the time displayedrefers to the current title and acts asa
Time Searchfeature. For example,if you like a particular scene in a movie,you can enter the elapsedtime the scene playsand skip right
to it.
L Highlight the Time Display and use the number buttons on the remote to enter the elapsed time you want to go to in that title.You
must use two digits for each field. For example, if you enter O1:35:12, playback will start one hour, 35 minutes, and 12 seconds into
the title.
Notes:
For Audio CDs,the time displayed refers to the track that's playing.
Some portions of a disc might prohibit searching or scanning, such as warnings or opening credits.

CDs
Some discs contain rnore than one title. For example,there might be four movies on one disc (each movie might be considered a title).
Each title is divided inca chapters.
To select a title via the Info Display; highlight the Title icon with the right arrow button on the remote control, Press the up or down
arrow button to go to the next title:When you're playing aVCD or an Audio CD, use these instructions to go to a different Track.
Notes:
You can also usethe number buttonson theremote toenterthetit_e/track
number.
Hany disks only have one tit_e.
Shortcut
While you'replayinga
disc,you can use the
CH +/CH- buttonsto
goto the next chapter
or previous chapter.
Chapter ken (DVD)
BecauseDVD discs use digital technology,a title can be divided into individual chapters (similar to tracks on a CD).You can skip to a
specific chapter by usingthe Chapter feature in the Info Display.
L While a disc is playing,press JNFO on the remote (the Jnfo Display appears),
2,. Press the right arrow button until the chapter icon is highlighted.
3. Press the up and/or down arrow buttons to go to different chapters.
Notes:
You can also usethe number button(s) o n theremote to enterthechapter you want to play--you m ay need to enter2 digits,
depending on teenumber ofchapter there areon thedisc (for example, ifthere are 14 chapters, to go to chapter 4,press 0 and
then press 4).The moviestarts p_aying at thebeginning o fthechapteryou entered.
The Chapterfeature won'twork ifthedisc isn't formatted withseparate c hapters.
When you're recording o nto DVD+R and DVD+RW discs, a chapter mark isadded automatically
every5 minutesofrecording.
Subtitle Icon
(DVD)
To changethe subdfle language, h ighlight the subtitle icon and press the up or down arrow bur_onsto scroll through the choices (the
subtitle languageoptions appear in the box at the bottom of the Info Display).
Notes:
Changb_g thesubtitle language w ith theInfo Display w ill onlyaffect thedisc you arecurrently playing. When thedisc is removed
or theplayer isturnedoff, t hesubtitle language wiff revert to the_anguage setting s pecified
throughtheDVDIVCRN Language
menu.
If the disc doesn't
contain the language you want to use, the disc's default _anguage is automatically
selected.
Some discs areprogrammed toonlyallowyou toaccess thesubtitle feature throughthedisc's menu. Ifchanging subtitle
language viatheInfo Display doesn't work (asdescribed a bove), p ressHENU and changethesubtitle _anguage v iathe disc's
menu.
