The Sound Menu
The So1_*ld menu lets you select different sound settings to nl;.itch the
equipment
}ou ]1axe
connected
to your DVD Player.
Digital Output
Digital output lets you choose which type of digital audio is output fr(ml your I)VD player. If
you've used an optical cable to connect a l)olby Pro Logic, l)(_[by l)igita], or I)TS receiver, you
must adjust this setting. There are two options:
Dolby Digital: Choose this setting if you connected
a 1)olby Digital receiver.
DTS: Choose this setting if yon connected
a DTS receiver or decoder
to your I)VD Player.
The default is Dolby Digital. To change the digital output:

Setup
Select the Digital Output option
from the Sound menu.
From the main menu. highlight and select the Sound option an([
press OK (the Sotmd menu is displayed).
Highlight the Digital Output option and press OK.
Highlight the desired OUtl_Utand press OK.
Press the left arrow 7key to return to the nlain l'l_lenu.
