Functions Clock/Counter
Cassette-In Indicator ( I_ ) Cassette is inserted in VCR. Flashes when timer recording set and no tape in VCR.
Clock/Counter Displays current time or time counter or channel numbers when switching channels.
Function Displays:
BYE Power off
CHAN, START,END, DATE, SPEED,SAVE, and SAVED Appear during program express.
FFWD Fastforward
HELLO Power on
LOCK Appears for Pro-Tect Plus
TM
locking feature
OVERLAP Timer programs overlap
PLAY Tape is in playback mode.
REC Record
REW Rewind
SRCH+ Forward picture search
SRCH- Reverse picture search
STILL Playback is paused; still-frame displayed
SLOW Tape playing back in slow motion
STOP Tape is in stop mode
TAPE Timer recording set, VCR turned off, and no tape in VCR
T-REC Timer recording in progress
X-REC Express recording in progress
Hi-Fi Indicator Lights when HI-FI or MIX is selected in the audio menu.
Speed Indicator (SP or SLP) Displays the recording speed.
SAP Indicator Lights when SAP is selected in the audio menu and Reception menu is set to SAP.
STEREO Indicator Lights when the station you are tuned to is broadcasting stereo and Reception menu is set to STEREO.
VCR Indicator (Applies only if the VCR Viewing Channel is 3 or 4). Press the TV*VCR on the VCR (ANTENNA on remote)
to turn on or off.
° VCR indicator on: Picture from VCR.
• VCR indicator off: Picture from TV channel.
