This lights up when the VCR is receiving
a
stereo signal.

(LOCK)
This lights up when the "Child Lock"
feature
is in use.

This displays
either
the current
time or
how long the tape has run. The counter
is
automatically
set to 0H00M00S when a new
tape is loaded.
The current
time is dis-
played whenever
the VCR is turned
off,
when no tape is in the VCR, or when you
press the DISPLAY
button.

tracking
light
(DTR)
This will flash when you first play a new
cassette,
indicating
that the VCR is
adjusting
the tracking.
When tracking
is
finished,
it will glow steadily.
If you adjust
the tracking
manually,
it will turn off.

(PLAY)
This lights up when the VCR is playing
a
tape.

This will flash when you are writing
an
index mark or light up when you begin
searching
for an index mark.

channel(s)
you are listening

This will light up to indicate
that

channel
you are watching

Audio Program,
or SAP. )m SAP is an
alternative
soundtrack
to the program
you
are watching.
The SAY' is often another
language.

(POWER)
Press this button
to turn the VCR on or off. If you
have programmed
the VCR to record, you need to
turn the VCR off.
TV button
(TV)
Your VCR remote
control
can be used to control
most of the functions
of many brands
of televi-
sions.
After setting
up your remote
for your
particular
brand
of television,
press this button
when you want
to use the remote
to operate
your
television.

Use these

to select television
