Before performing anytypeofmaintenance/service, disengage all
controls and stoptheengine. W aituntilall moving partshavecometo
a completestop.Disconnect sparkplugwireandgrounditagainst t he
enginetoprevent u nintended starting. A lwayswearsafetyglasses during
operation or whileperforming anyadjustments or repairs.

Theengineoil shouldbe changedafter the firstfive hoursof useand
thenoncea seasonor afterevery 50 hoursof use.
NOTE:Checkthe oil levelbeforeeachuse and afterevery five hours
of operationto be surethe correctoil levelismaintained.Referto
CheckingOil Levelinthe OperationSection.

Drainfuelfrom the tank by runningtheengine untilthe fueltank is
empty.Be surethe fuel fill cap issecure.
2.
Placea suitableoil collectioncontainerunder theoil drain plug.

Tip the engineto drain oil into the container.Usedoil mustbe
disposedof at a propercollectioncenter.
5.
Reinstall t he drain plug and tightenitsecurely.
6.
Refillwiththerecommended oilandchecktheoillevel;refertoAdding
Oil inthe OperationSectionfor instructions..
7.
Reinstall t he oil fillercap/dipsticksecurely.
