NOTE:Makesurethat the locationof the ferruleon the auger
idler rod is maintained.

Slip the augercontrolbelt (thefront belt) off the enginepulley.
3.
Pull the brakebracketassemblytowardsthecable guide roller
and unhookthe augercable"Z" fitting.See Figure27.
4.
Fromboth sidesof the the frameassembly,use a 1/2" wrenchto
removethe threehex tap screwssecuringthe frameto the auger
housingassembly.Referto Figure23 on previouspage.
NOTE:Do not removethe lowerhexflangelock nuton eachside.

Placea blockof woodunderneath the augerhousingas shownin
Figure28 and separate augerhousingfromtheframeby tiltingthe
housingforwardand pullingupthe handles.
6.
Blockthe impellerwith a piece of woodto preventit from spinning
and usea 1/2"wrenchto removethe hexscrewand flat washer
fromthe centerof the pulleyon the auger housing.See Figure29.
7.
Lift the brakebracketassemblyout of the pulleygrooveand slide
the pulleyassemblyoff the postsof the augerpulleyadapterto
removetheold belt. Referto Figure29.
NOTE:Thepulleyadaptermay slideoff the augerinputshaftwhen
removingthe pulley.Useextra cautionto ensurethe adapterdoes fall
and/orget damagedwhenremovingthe pulley.
8.
Placethe newauger beltin theV-grooveof the augerpulleyand
placethe pulleyw/beltinsidethe belt keepers.
9.
Turnthe pulleyas necessary toalign its threeslotsapproximately
with thepostsofthe pulleyadapter, t henmovethe brakebracket
assemblyawayfrom the inputshaft. Whilealigningthe pulley
slotsand adapterposts,pushthe augerpulleyfully ontothe
adapter.Referto Figure29.
NOTE: If the pulleyadapterwas removedwiththe pulley,align the
splinesof the pulleyadapterand augerinputshaft, and pushthe pulley
and adapterontothe inputshaft. Referto Figure29.
10. Slide thewasherontothe hex screwremoved earlier and apply
Loctite262 to the threadsof the hexscrew.
11. Insertthe hex screwthroughthepulleyassemblyand into the
