Adjusting
bass and treble
Briefly press BASS orTREBLE.
•._ _@55 or Tf?E_LE and the actual level are displayed.
PressVOL+ orVOL-
or turnVOLUME
on the DVD
recorder system to adjust the bass or treble.
Note: If VOLUME is not turned within 5 seconds, or if any
other key is pressed, adjustment of rear and subwoofer volume
and that of bass and treble is switched off
Loudness
Loudness enhances bass and treble _t low volume.
Press LOUDNESS repeatedly to switch loudness either on

_N or _FF is displayed on the DVD
recorder system.
Setting the volume balance
etween the speakers
If a speaker appears too loud or too quiet in comparison to
the rest of the speakers, you can adjust the volume balance
between the speakers.

Press AUDIO
MENU to enter the audio menu.

Press • repeatedly to select _f_,L_hlEE, then press •.

Press • to enter TEST TSNE.

Press • repeatedly to select Ohl,then press OK.
The test tone is played on each speaker for a short time.
Note:The test tone is not available for adjusting the subwoofer
volume,

Press • repeatedly to select the speaker which appears too
quiet or too loud:
FP_NT--L: the left front speaker,
[-P0NT--P: the right front speaker,
_ENTEP: the centre speaker,
ffEA_?--L:the left rear speaker,
ffEA_?--P: the right rear speaker,
._ 5U_,,10_FER_: the subwoofer.
Then, press •.
Press • or • repeatedly to adjust the volume of the
selected speaker (values between --_ and +B).
Press OK to store the selting or _1to exit without
storing.

To adjust the volume of another speaker, repeat steps 5--8.
Press AUDIO
MENU to exit.
