Inserting the batteries

Open the baltery compartment of the remote control and
insert 2 alkaline batteries, type AA (R06, UH-3),
Close the battery compartment,
Do not use old and new or different types of balteries in
combination,
Remove batteries if they are empty or if the remote control
will not be used for a long time,
Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should
be disposed of properly.
Using the remote control
With this remote control you can control the
DVD recorder systemas well asother Philipsappliances
such asa PhilipsT_VCR or CD player
To control a PhilipsappJiance, b riefly pressthe
corresponding source key (TX4, SAT,CAN 1/2, CD, CDR or
VCR) on the remote control, Some of the remote control
keys,e.g, 0,0--9, CH+, CHn 141_1, I_1_I,I, MI can be used
to control the appliancethen.To control the DVD recorder
system with these keys,pressTUNER or DVD/HON,
To select a source on the DVD recorder system,keep the
source key (T_, SAT, C AN 1/2, CD, CDR orVCR) on the
remote control pressed for 1 second.
To select CAN 2 (orTAPE, GAHE),first select CAN 1 (or
CDR,VCR), then keepthe corresponding key pressed for
1 second.
To control the DVD recorder system,pleasepoint the
remote control at the DVD recorder systemand not at
the T_
