Changing the country code
(DVD-Video discs only)
The set filter values depend on the respective country
Therefore it is necessary to enter the country in which you
live
1 Switch yourTV set on, If necessary set the TV to the
correct audio/video channel Such channels may be called
AUX or AUXILIARY IN, AUDIO/VIDEO orA/V IN, EXT1,
EXT2 or EXTERNAL IN, ere,These channels are often near
channel 00.
2 Press 0 to switch on the DVD recorder system,
3 Press SYSTEM MENU on the remote control,
•_ The system menu bar appears,
4 Press • on the remote control as often as necessary until
TA is selected.
5 Press • or • on the remote control as often as necessary
until G} Features
is selected,
6 Press • on the remote control to confirm the selection.
7 Press • on the remote control to confirm the selected line

8 Use the numerical keys on the remote control to enter the
4-digit code.
9 Press • or • on the remote control as often as necessary
until the line Change country
is selected,

| 3 Press SYSTEM MENU on the remote control to switch off
the system menu bar,
8 Use the numerical keys on the remote control to enter the
old 4-digit code.
9 Press • or • on the remote control as often as necessary
until the line Change code is selected,
|0 Press • on the remote control to confirm the selection.
| | Use the numerical keys on the remote control to enter the
new 4-digit code,
| 2 Enter the same code again as confirmation.
| 3 Press SYSTEM MENU on the remote control to switch off
the system menu bar
If you have forgotten your 4-digit code
| Follow steps 1-7 as described above.
2 Press STOP • 4 times when prompted for the
4-digit code.
.._ The old 4-digit code is deleted,
3 Enter a new 4-digit code twice,
