• Sew in a Zipper
Fabric Preparation:
Put the right sides of the fabric together
and sew to the end of the zipper
opening. Use the reverse to lock the
stitches.
Sew the zipper opening with stitch
length at "4 "" and top thread tension at
"'3 "'.

Preparez votre tissu:
Mettez le ttssu endroit sur endroit et
cot€set fltsqtt _au boztt de l' ouverture.
Piquet en arridre pour arr_ter la
couture.
R_glez la longueur du point a "4'" et ta
tension a "3".

To Sew :
1. Fold back the left seam allowance as
shown.
2. Turn under the right seam allowance
to form a 1/8"" fold.
3. Place the zipper teeth next to the 1t8"'
fold and pin in place.
Mise en place:

2. Repliez dessous la ressource drotte,
formez tm pli de t18",
3, Placez los mailles de ta fermeture
contre Ie pli de I18" et b_tissez.
4. To sew the left side of the zipper, set
the zipper foot on the Ieft side of the
needle.
5. Lower the zipper foot on the right side
at the bottom of the zipper so that the
needle pierces the fold and the zipper
tape.
6. Sew through the totd and the zipper
tape to the point where the slider
begins.
7. Lower the needle to hold the fabdc
and raise the presser foot.
4.Pour coudre te cot6 gauche de la
fermeture a glissi_re, r@lez le pied de
fermetures a glissidre Et la gauche de
l/aiguille.
5. Abaissez te pied sur l'endrott au bout
de ia fermeture, pour que l'atguille
ptqtte clans te oil et dans ta ganse,
6, Piquez clans le pli et.la ganse, jusqu:a
proxmutd du ct_rseur de la fermemre.
7 Laissez t.'atguille ptqu_e dans le t_ssu
et remontez le pied_
