Choose whether to sharpen
or soften outlines.
• HARD: U sefor sharp outlines
when photographing such
subjects as buildings and
text.
• STANDARD: Standard sharpness. Best choice in
most situations.
• SOFT: U se for soft outlines in portraits and similar
subjects.

Adjust flash brightness.
Choose from values be-
tween +2/3EV and -2/3 EV.The
default setting is _+0. Note
that the desired results may
not be achieved depending on shooting condi-
tions and the distance to the subject.
[] BRACKETING
Choose the size of the expo-
sure bracketing increment
used when _ (bracketing)
is selected in continuous
shooting mode. Choose
from increments of _+1/3 E V, _+2/3 E V, and _+1EV (for
an explanation of the term "EV,"see the Glossary
on page 108).
