Press MENU/0K to select the high-
lighted option.
Until the setting is changed as described above,
the chosen scene will be selected whenever the
mode dial is rotated to SIR. The default selection

Choose this mode for soft4oned portraits
Ib PORTRAIT
with natural skin tones.
Choose this mode for crisp, clear daylight
LANDSCAPE shots of buildings and landscapes. The flash
turns off automatically.
Choose this mode when photographing
SPORT moving subjects. [] HIGH-SPEED SHOOT-
ING turns on automatically and priority is
given to faster shutter speeds.
Choose this mode for poorly lit twilight or
NIGHT night scenes. Sensitivity is automatically
raised to reduce blur caused by camera
shake.
Choose this mode for slow shutter speeds
,_-* NIGHT
when shooting at night. Use a tripod to [)re-
(TRIPOD) vent blur. "_
Capture natural light indoors, under low _-
NATURAL light, or where the flash can not be used. TM
LIGHT The flash turns off and sensitivity is raised to
reduce blur.
Slow shutter speeds are used to capture the
expanding burst of light from a firework.
Press the [] button to display a shutter-

speed selection dialog and press the selec-
tor up and down to choose a shutter speed.
The flash turns off automatically.
