Instant zoom offers a quick way to compose pictures.
• OpticalZoom
1 Position the subject in the focus frame.
Use the zoom control to frame the subject in
the center of the display.
Choose a frame.
Press the selector up
(I-_1) to cycle through
framing options as
shown below.

The frame is displayed
as shown at right. The
composition can be ad-
justed using the zoom

Focus and shoot.

%. Intelligent FaceDetection
Intelligent Face Detection will not detect faces outside
the selected frame.

Only horizontal (landscape-orientation) framing is
available when 6, r_, or _ is selected for continu-
ous shooting mode. Tile maximum number of shots
that carl be taken when _'_ or M'_is selected decreases
if vertical orientation framing is used.
