Water Filter Cartridge
The water filter cartridge is located in the
back upper fight corner of the refiigerator
COl//pa l'[l//ellt.
When to Replace the Filter
There is a replacement indicator
light ,for tile water filter cartridge on the
temper;m/re display. This light will turn
orange to tell you that you need to replace
the filter soon. The filter cam-Jdge should
be replaced when the replacement
indicator light ttlrns red or if tile flow
of water to tile dispenser or icemaker
decreases.
Installing the Filter Cartridge
If you are re )lacing the c'u'trid.e
first remove the old one bx slo,d,
turning it comlterclockwise. A small
amount of water may drip down.

tile holdel: Do not push it up into
the holdel: Slowly rotate the cartridge

raise itself into position. Cartridge
will rotate about 1/4 turn. O0 not
overtighten.
Run water fi'om tile dispenser for
3 minutes (about 1 */2gallons) to clear
the system and prevent sputtering.
