4. OPERATION
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

If
the
motor
starts
accidentally,
the cutting
blade may cause serious
injury.
Disconnect
the extension
cord
from the mower to prevent. acci-
dental starting.
Select the correct cutting height. for
your mowing requirements. A height
of 1 l/2 " to 2" is appropriate for most
lawns during cool weather. A higher
cut is recommended during hot sum-
mer months.
ADJUSTING
LEVER
Cutting height is adjustable in seven
increments: l/2", 5/8", 1 'I, 1 l/2", 2",
2 l/2", and 3". To adjust, pull each
adjusting lever toward the wheel, and
move it into another notch. Set both
front and rear adjusting levers to the
same cutting height position.
