ADDING A SECOND EXTENSION CORD
If possible, use a single extension
cord of sufficient length for your mow-
ing requirements. If you have only
shorter extension cords, you may
connect them together to extend your
mowing range, if they meet minimum
wire gauge requirements for Jotal
cord length (see table on page 11).
To prevent accidental disconnection
during operation, make a knot,. as
shown, whenconnecting two exten-
sion cords together.

Attach the extension cord to the cord
holder as

To avoid unintentional starting,' do
not hold the motor control lever while
connecting the extension cord.

Remove the extension cord when-
ever the mower will be u.nattended.
Disconnect electrical cords by grasp-
ing the plugs.
CAUTION: Pulling the mower by
the electrical cords, or yanking the
cords to disconnect them, may
damage the cords.
