Aluminum
Foil
Do not use aluminum foil to line oven bottoms.
The foil will trap heat below and upset the
performance of the oven. Foilcan melt
and permanently damage the oven bottom.
Damage from improper use of aluminum foil is
not covered by the product warranty.
Foilmay be used to catch spills by placing a
sheet on a lower rack, several inches below
the food .Do not use more foil than necessary
and never entirely cover an oven rack with
aluminum foil. Keep foil at least 1-1/2" from
oven walls to prevent poor heat circulation.

Preheating

To avoid possible burns, place the racks
in the desired position before you turn on the
oven.
Preheatthe ovenif the recipecallsfor it. Preheating
isnecessary for good resultswhenbakingcakes,

Bakingresultswillbe better if foodis centeredin

the exceptionand shouldbe placedon the bottom
ovenrack (position A).Followpackagedirectionson
prepackaged and frozenfoodsfor pan placement.
Pansshouldnot touch eachotheror the wallsof
the oven.Ifyou needto usetwo racks, s taggerthe
panssoone is not directlyabovethe other.Leave
approximately 1_" betweenpansand from the
front,back and sidesof ovenwall.

Touchthe BAKEpad.

Touchthe numberpadsuntilthe desired
temperatureis displayed.

Theovenwill start automatically. T hedisplaywill
showPrEwhilepreheating. W henthe ovenreaches
the selectedtemperature, t he ovencontrolwill beep
several t imesand the displaywill showthe oven
temperature.
NOTE:You will hear the convection fan (on
some models) while the oven is preheating. The
fan will stop after the oven is preheated and
the display shows your set temperature. This is
normal.
Tochangethe oventemperatureduringtheBAKE
cycle, t ouch the BAKE pad and thenthe number
padsto getthe newtemperature.

Checkfoodfor doneness at the minimumtime
on the recipe.Cooklongerif necessary.

Touchthe CLEAR/OFF p ad whenbakingis
finished,andthen removethe food from the
oven.
