andthesawbase, a ndplaceit ona level w orksurface.
NOTE: Thissawis heavy. T oavoidbackinjury, l iftwith
yourlegs,notyourback,andget helpwhenneeded.
• Yoursawhasbeenshipped withthesawarmsecured
inthedownposition. Torelease thesawarm,push
downonthetop of thesawarm,cutthetie-wrap, a nd
pulloutonthelockpin.
• Liftthesawarmbythehandle. H andpressure s hould
remain onthesawarmto prevent s udden riseupon
release ofthetie wrap.
• Inspect t hetoolcarefully t o makesurenobreakage o r
damage occurred duringshipping.
• Donotdiscard thepacking material u ntilyouhave
carefully inspected andsatisfactorily operated thetool.
• Thesawisfactorysetforaccurate cutting. A fter
assembling i t, checkfor accuracy. Ifshipping has
influenced t hesettings, r efer to specificprocedures
explained in thismanual.
