Pump and Motor Maintenance
This pressure washer does not require any maintenance on
the pump or motor. Both assemblies are pre-lubricated and
sealed, requiring no additional lubrication ever.
After EachUse
Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of time.
Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and
"freeze" pump action. Follow these procedures after every
use:

Flush detergent system by lifting cleaning tank lid and
removing it and attached hose from tank.
Using two stiff putty knives
or two flat bladed
screwdrivers, press in on
sides of cleaning tank. Tank
should slide out of opening.
Rinse cleaning tank out with
fresh clean water. Leavetank
full of clean water.
4. Insert detergent hose into tank and run pressure
washer with adjustable nozzle set for low pressure.
Flush for one or two minutes.
5. Dump remaining water out of cleaning tank. Push tank
back into pressure washer base. Reinsert detergent
hose and secure tank lid on tank.
6. Turn master ON/OFFswitch to OFFand turn off water
supply. Point gun in a safe direction and squeeze
trigger to relievetrapped pressure. After a few
moments, releasetrigger and engage trigger lock on
spray gun.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
underlying tissues, leading to serious injury and
possible amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when
motor is stopped and water is disconnected,
which can cause injury.
• Keephigh pressure hoseconnected to pumpand spraygun
whilesystemis pressurized.
• ALWAYS pointspraygun in safedirectionand squeeze spray
guntrigger,to release high pressure, e verytimeyou turn off
pressure washer.Engage trigger lockwhennot in use.
7. Disconnect garden hose from pressure washer.
8. Rewind high pressure hose onto hose reel.
9. Store unit in a clean, dry area. If storing in
temperatures below 40° F, see Winter Storage.
Winter Storage
NOTICE
You must protect your unit from freezing temperatures.
• Failure to do sowill permanently damage your pumpand render
your unit inoperable.
• Freeze damage is notcovered underwarranty.
To protect the unit from freezing temperatures:
1. Follow steps 1-8 in the previous section AfterEach Use.
2. Store unit indoors in a clean, dry area where
temperatures remain above 40° F.
Other StorageTips
• Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not
retain moisture.
