[] Exposure Compensation
Use exposure compensation when photographing very bright, very dark, or high-contrast subjects.
1 Press the selector up (r+r_).
The exposure indicator will be displayed.

Choose a value.
Press the selector button. The effect is vis-
ible in the display.
Choose positive (+) values
to increase exposure
Choose negative (-) values
to reduce exposure

Return to shooting mode.
Press MENU/OK to return to shoot-
ing mode.

Take pictures.

A [] icon and exposure indicator are displayed at set-
tings other than _+0. Exposure compensation is not
reset when the camera is turned off; to restore normal
exposure control, choose a value of_+O.
