The electronic
speed control
Fig. 23
feature allows router motor
speed to be matched
to cutter
size and workpiece-material
hardness for an improved
finish and extended
bit life.
Speed changes are made by
rotating the Speed Control Dial
to the "LEFT," starting at "1 ,"
to increase the speed and to
the "RIGHT" to decrease the
speed, as indicated on the Dial.
The router motor top cap has
a "Variable Speed Selection
Chart" located above the "ON/OFF"
toggle switch to help determine
the correct
speed for the cutting
bit being used.
