1. Select the appropriate settings for each Fibre Channel port based on the device to
which the port is connected.
2. Determine the topology parameters supported by the device, and set your topology
accordingly.
3. The type of port is also important. If you plan to connect different types of servers
to the array through the same fabric switch, you must use the zoning function of
the fabric switch.
