Restart the SRM service using the vmware-dr command:
C:\>net STOP vmware-dr
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service is stopping.
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service was stopped
successfully.
C:\>net START vmware-dr
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service is starting.
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service was started
successfully.

If you change any environment variables, restart the SRM service. See step 4.
Removing the XP Virtualization Adapter
To remove the XP Virtualization Adapter:
1.
Delete the XP Virtualization Adapter using the Windows Add or Remove Programs window.
2.
Restart VMware Site Recovery Manager Service by using the vmware-dr command:
C:\>net STOP vmware-dr
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service is stopping.
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service was stopped success-
fully.
C:\>net START vmware-dr
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service is starting.
The VMware Site Recovery Manager Service service was started success-
fully.
