Pictures are too bright Adjust exposure compensation. 28

Unexpected results when In-Camera Red-Eye Fix may, in very rare 24,
flash set to _@ (auto with cases, be applied to areas not affected by 3 I,
red-eye reduction) red-eye. Set flash to #_UTO ( auto) or _ (fill- 32, 39
flash) and try again. Note that red-eye reduc-
tion is the default setting for one-touch por-
trait, t, and [] modes.

File cannot be played back File has been overwritten or renamed by
computer or other make of camera.
Cannot zoom in on picture Playback zoom cannot be used with movies,
small pictures, or pictures that have been
cropped to below 320 x 240.
Cannot record voice memo Voice memos cannot be appended to mov- 54
les.
Cannot use D-Lighting, crop, These options cannot be used with movies 54, 44
or small picture options and may not be available with pictures cre-
ated with other cameras. Select picture that
supports D-Lighting, crop, or small picture.
Pictures not displayed on • Choose correct video mode. 103
television • Memory card contains no pictures. Replace 14, 15
memory card. Remove memory card to
play back pictures from internal memory.
PictureProject does not start • Camera is off.
when camera is connected • Battery is exhausted.
• USB cable is not correctly connected.
