Using Subject Tracking
Rotate the mode dial to
P, S, A or M

Choose this mode to shoot moving subjects. Subject tracking begins once you
select a subject to be focused on, and the focus area will move and follow the
subject.

Rotate the multi selector to select _ Subject
tracking, and press the _ button.
• Press the MENU button after changing tile settings and
return to the shooting screen.

Frame the subject at the center of the border, m c_ _
and press the _ button. _
• The subject is registered.
• When the camera is unable to focus on the subject, the
border lights in red. Change the composition and try
again.
• Once the subject is registered, it is framed by a yellow
focus area display, and subject tracking begins.
• Press the _) button to cancel the registration of the
subject.
• If the camera loses sight of the subject, the focus area
display disappears; register the subject again.
the focus area is not displayed, the camera focuses the
subject at the center of the frame.
