Extracting Only the Desired Portions of the Movie
The desired portions of a recorded movie car] be saved as a separate file.
1 Play back the movie to be edited and pause at the start point of the
portion that is to be extracted ([_100),

Use the multi selector _ or i_ to choose _
on the playback control, and press the _ I
button.
• The movie editing screen is displayed.

Press • or • to choose _ (Choose start
point) on the editing playback control.

• To cancel, press • or • to choose 4-j (Back) and press I w I
the _) button.

Press • or • to choose _ (Choose end point).
• Rotate the multi selector or press _1 or i_ to move the
end point at the right end to the end position of the
required section.
• To check the playback of the movie in the specified _ I
range before saving it, choose [] (Preview) and press
the _) button. During preview playback, the volume can
be adjusted with the zoom control T/W. Use the multi
selector to fast forward or rewind. To stop the preview playback, press the _) button
again.
5 After finishing the settings, press • or • to choose IZ] (Save) and press
the _ button.
