Shooting movies
Move the power zoom lever a little for a slower zoom. Move it further for a faster zoom.
Using the zoom sparingly results in better-looking recordings.
W: For wide-angle (subject appears farther away)
T : For telephoto (subject appears closer)

* The minimum distance required between your camcoder and the subject to get a sharp
focus in that position of the lex er.
To use zoom greater than 10 ×
Zoom greater than 10 x is performed digitally. Digital zoom can be set to 20 × or 120 ×.
The picture quality deteriorates as vou move the power zoom lever towards the "T"
side.
To activate digital zoom, select the digital zoom power in _(CAMERA SET) -
[D ZOOM] in the SETUP display (page 112). The digital zoonr is set to [OFF] as the
default setting.

the digital zooming zone.

Tip
If you cannot get a sharp focus, rnoxe the power zoom lever to the "W" side until the
focus is sharp.
