TO START ENGINE
1.
Attachspark plugwire and rubberbootto sparkplug.
2.
The bag/chuteswitch buttonmustbe fully depressedbythe tip of
front tab on baghandleor blowerchute for engineto start.
3.
Makesurebag/chuteswitchwire is connectedto engineand
groundedto mountingbracket.
4.
Gas tank shouldbe filled3/4 to full beforestarting.

Movethrottlecontrolto START/RUN (Rabbit) _
position.See

6.
Movethechokecontrol I'_'1 towardthe throttlecontrolto choke
the engine'scarburetor.(A warmengine maynot requirechoking.)

7.
Standingbehindthe unit, graspstarterhandleand pull ropeout
until youfeel a drag.
8.
Pullthe rope with a rapid,continuous, f ull arm stroke.Keepa firm
grip on the starterhandle.Letthe roperewindslowly.
9.
Repeat,if necessary,untilengine starts.Whenengine starts,
move chokecontrolgraduallyawayfromthe throttlecontrol.
10. If enginebiters, movechoke controlback towardthe throttle
controland repeatsteps7 through9.

11. ALWAYS keepthe throttlecontrolin the START/RUN
positionwhenoperatingthe YardVacuum.
TO STOP ENGINE
1.
Movethrottlecontrolleverto slow(turtle)_
position.
Wheneverpossible,graduallyreduceengine speedbefore
stoppingengine.
2.
Movethrottlecontrol leverto STOP
or OFF position.
3.
Disconnectsparkplug wireand groundit to the retainingpost to
preventaccidentalstartingwhilethe equipmentis unattended.
