Theoperationof anyyard vacuumcan resultin foreignobjectsbeing
thrownintothe eyes,whichcan damageyoureyes severely. A lways

iMPORTANT:Movethe speedcontrol onlywhenthe engineis
running.Changingthe speedcontrolsettingwith theengine off can
damagethe yardvacuum.
CHIPPER CHUTE
Allowstwigsand small branchesup to 1-1/2"in diameterto be fed into
the impellerfor chipping.See Figure10.
DRIVE CONTROL
Locatedon the undersideof the upperhandle,the drivecontrolis used
to engage/disengage wheels.Fullysqueezethe drivecontrolagainst
the upperhandleto engagethe wheels;releaseto disengage.(DO
NOTslip clutch).
SPEED CONTROL
Locatedon the left side of the upperhandle,the speedcontrolis used
to selectthe forwardspeedof the yardvacuum.
NOZZLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LEVER
Usedto adjustthe nozzlegroundclearancerangingapproximately
from 5/8" to 4 1/8".See Figure10.
NOZZLE
Yardwastesuch as leavesor pine needlescan be vacuumedup
throughthe nozzlefor shredding.
HOSE ASSEMBLY
Usedas an alternativeto thenozzleto vacuumyardwastesuch as
leavesor pine needlesin hardto reachplaces.See Figure10.
NOZZLE/HOSE VAC LEVER
The nozzle/hosevac handleis locatedon topof the nozzle.Useit to
switchvacuumsuctionbetweenthe nozzleand the hoseassembly.
